Student Policies:
Please read through both the Academic Misconduct Policy and Handbook and check the University Student COVID-19 page frequently for updates.

Classes:
Fall 2020 classes will be in-person one day a week and live-streamed the other four days. There will also be daily discussions online. You may request more in-person days (if we are able to accommodate we will) or to be fully remote.

The department will register you for all of your classes. You will be notified once enrolled and after signed forms are received. Each class is four credit hours for a total of 40 credits. CS 6010, CS 6011, and CS 6012 should appear under “My Classes” through CIS once enrolled. These three courses will be five weeks long each:

  • CS 6010Begins 8/24/20, ends 9/25/20
  • CS 6011Begins 9/28/20, ends 10/30/20
  • CS 6012–Begins 11/2/20, ends 12/3/20

Fall 2020 and Spring 2021: Monday-Friday 8:30am-12:30pm
Summer 2021: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 8:30-11:30am
Fall 2021: Monday/Wednesday 8:30-11:30am
*From Spring 2021 to Fall 2021 your classes will be taught concurrently.*

All other University dates (tuition deadline, Fall/Spring Break, etc.) follow the regular University Schedule.

E-mail: You will request a CS account for department communication as well as accessing your student file through the Grad Tracker system. Please request on or after August 10th here. Either your Umail or CS email must be used to communicate with University faculty/staff.

UCard:  Your UCard is used for room and building access. You may upload your picture and request your UCard through UCard Services. Once you have your UCard, UTA services will activate and allow you to ride for free during the first week of classes.
